Today we looked at how Foley created sound effects to go with a film and we had to choose a clip that Dave showed us and in a group of three we had to create our own sounds for the clip. Also we research about Foley’s work and what skills they needed. Then after we choose our clip we had to collect our props before we recorded all the different sound to go with the Charlie Chaplin clip. After we recored our sounds we used Adobe premier to add the sounds to the clip. Then we had to see what sounds we needed for our story and how we are going to make the sounds.
it recreates sound effects for film and television production. People uses different types of shoes and props for examples, glasses. Foley matches the sound effects to the motion pictures. The sounds aren’t cut in with the film.
